Maneekarn crashed at 6pm last night and we didn't wake until 4. Jeff was able to give her her morning bottle and carry her for a bit. His rib is still twingey and he is guarding it. It improved a little again today, so we are really happy about that. She cried initially, but settled down quickly.
They played and sang at breakfast. Jeff got some good belly laughs and some great smiles. Maneekarn can be quite rowdy. She is still a bit clingy but is exploring and does not have to be on top of me all the time. She got a great morning nap (sorry Papa Yost, that's why we missed you on Skype .She headed South quick and we took advantage of it.), so we're heading to the pool for a swim ( most likely just stick our feet in.)
It is fun to watch her open up and give us just a bit more or something new each day! She's a sweet pea.

ReplyDeleteSeems all is well. Everyone is getting to know each other. Hope you can take that trip to the coast before you leave, but if not it will give you an excuse to return some day. Still waiting for a pic of Mt. Mckinley.
