Last night went pretty smoothly. We are lucky that Maneekarn is a good sleeper. She slept most of the night, all the while doing flips and flops and babbling out loud. When she would lightly rouse, she would crawl up onto my belly and burrow into my shoulder. I had to flop her off several times after she drifted back to lala land. I'm surprised she didn't bother Jeff. Her foster mother told us she used to co-sleep with her. When their new foster child arrived the bedtime stunts woke the other child and Maneekarn would sit and talk to her. No one got much sleep, so Short Stuff was banished to crib kept close by.
Tomorrow we are going to have Jeff start giving Miss M her bottle and feed her during meals. The fastest way to the heart is through the stomach. She continues to be very interested, smiley and warm towards him. Hoping to take it to the next level.
Meeting went well today. We got lucky and were first to be called. Tomorrow afternoon is or visa interview. Aside from picking up Maneekarn's visa, that should end all of our structured business.
Gretchen and Jeff,
ReplyDeleteGlad to see everything is smooth sailing. Since you will have some free time now, maybe you can still spend time at the beach if the flooding did not affect some areas. How about some pics of Maneekarn with her butt in in the air. Happy for you.
Love,
Grandpa Yost
