Trip home

Well, the morning we left Miss M. woke with some serious bed head and a great attitude. She turned out to be a great traveler. Our biggest issue was that she wanted to be up and walking.
She rarely fussed and slept through half of our 2nd flight. We were so amazed.
It was so good to get home, though we were exhausted after being up for a good day and a half. Mom and Dad got no sleep, though Jeff tried on an extended layover due to a delayed flight. The last 2 pics are of Maneekarn being welcomed into the US. We were waiting in line to do the paperwork to process her green card. Couldn't wait to get home and jump into the tub. ( Also - that's water in her Wendy's cup. Getting refreshed after the dry air on the plane.) We felt whipped.
Maneekarn was irate that she had to be in a car seat. We were grateful that she was ready for a nap and the car lulled her to sleep. We had supper with our friends Lori, Leo, and Kyle who looked out for our home while we were gone and had an amazing meal and Champagne waiting for us when we arrived home. What an amazing treat after a long, tiring trip home. We appreciate the 3 of you! Thanks!
We've had a little regression today in our new space. Maneekarn does not want to be separate from me, and once again, I am a living jungle gym. Jeff played music and danced for her today. She's a fan! She just needs reassurance and to get use to her new surroundings. Tomorrow the 3 of us are going out for a walk in the neighborhood. We need some exercise to help us whip this jet lag. we were up until 4:30 am last night. Nam-aun just woke, so Goodnight all!
